Fred,

No sitting by the campfire. Got it! I have no desire to be become the human torch. I noted that it's only for 30% of the body. My percentage is roughly 50%. And boy am I glad you told me not to put it on the groin area and under the arms. Bad places for me. Major itch site. So if I can't Enstilar foam on the groin or underarms, what do people generally use to deal with it in a case like mine, where it's severe in nature?

Enquiring minds wanna know!  Big Grin

Cheers,

Wintrman

Indeed be very careful with the foam, stay away from fire.
There is some weird reporting on specific types of inflammation see over here [Group Specific]

Go for the worse areas. But I would recommend doing a test patch first then you will be able to judge if you can use a bit more. *You don't need a lot of it as it goes a long way.

Coconut oil twice a day and loose fitting underwear would be my suggestion. Having said that I have used Diprosone lightly for under the arms and the genital area for a few days to get on top of it, but you need to be very careful anywhere the skin is thin.

If you have a bath Wheat Starch is good, if you don't have a bath you will have to dangle your bits in a bucket.  Tongue

A good idea to use coconut oil on delicate areas as you treat the rest of your body with Enstilar. However if you decide to try it on your groin and underarms (not recommended) be very sparing with it as getting it in your skin folds will increase its systemic absorption as these areas tend not to get much air to them its like having an occlusve dressing on... So if I had the problem I would wash it off after a couple of hours.

Coconut oil indeed. Not sure I wanna find out what it feels like to have Enstilar Foam on my private parts. Especially after being forewarned.

For me it’s something high in zinc which is also safe for private areas ie something intended for babies bottoms Smile it does help soothe the itch, only drawback is it’s a bit messy but good for nighttime.

Thank you all for the advice and the warnings. I will let you all know how it goes.

I just put on Enstilar for the first time. It's looking good. Kept it away from the sensitive areas, like face, head, armpits and others.  Looks like there is an immediate effect. No scaly white skin in sight at the moment. Can't wait to see the end result! Even if it's only on about 30% of my body.

Cheers,

Wintrman
