I sure hope you can get this medicine.  One day at a time.  One breath at a time.  Somehow, it will work out.  The injectible Methotrexate has been a lot easier for me to tolerate than the oral tablets.  And it has helped me a lot, now that I'm coming into the fourth month of using it.  It's really cheap, too.
Things are happening. Province has upped its deductible cuz it's a new year. It's now $7446. Good news is that my health care insurer pays all but $1400 or so and AbbVie is paying that for me

Staying on top of this stuff is like working a second job.   I'm glad this is going to work out for you.

Well, it's done! First dose of Skyrizi is done! Nurse did the first needle and I did the second one. I will be doing my own injections and the nurse even said so. She also mentioned that most people experience significant change in their skin condition in the first month. So even though we will wait for 90 days out to see how it's really working, I should see results pretty quick. Thank goodness! I am hoping to say goodbye to the itch and scaling and lesions. I am soooooo looking forward to this! Not experiencing the drowsiness the nurse said to expect in the few days after the first injection, so far. Nor am I experiencing diarrhea. So things are good so far in that department too.

Now I am sitting at work in the midst of what is supposed to be the worst blizzard in decades. Not much in the way of snow just yet, but the winds are absolutely wicked. The satellite dish for the television at work is shaking so badly, the signal is cutting in and out about every other minute or so. LOL Oh well, it could be worse. I could have no power....yet. (knocking on wood)

Annnnd I have to work a double cuz my relief isn't going to make it in for his shift. I totally understand as he is 83 years old and wouldn't feel safe driving in these conditions. So time and half here I come! Wheeeee!

Alright peeps! Have a great day!!

How is the Skyrizi working for you?  Are you seeing improvement, already?  I hope you stayed safe in the blizzard and earned a good amount at time-and-a-half pay.

Did ok in the blizzard. Overtime was a good thing. And the skyrizi has cleared up my torso almost entirely except my hears and arms and shoulders. Knees are almost back to normal so thing are going better than I expected. Super thrilled. Can't wait to see what the booster shot does for me and what life will be like 90 days out. I have a feeling my life will be so much better! How is life with you Forest?

You have had a quick response to Skyrizi.  Remicade and then Humira was like that for my Crohn's.  I had a super quick response, super quick healing.  It must feel wonderful, Sheila.  Such a relief for you.  Yay!!!   Bigarm
The evil Methotrexate has eased my patches and itching quite a lot, but I'm hoping to move to Stelara in time.

Guess what a side effect of Skyrizi is? Itchiness!  Especially on my shins. Anyways, just waiting for my arms to improve. Illove the results so far, but want the arms and ears to improve.
