Hi all. I have a question for those who are familiar and have personal experience with TALTZ. I got on TALTZ because I have inverse psoriasis in the under carriage area. My face (though it’s flared in the past) had been clear for about 6 months before getting on TALTZ. I have had 2 injections. My face is now flaring pretty bad. Is that a temporary side affect? Should I press on? Or quit immediately?

I would say carry on, is it 2 weeks before your next shot ?

Things to think about:
  • Your body has never experienced Taltz before, so it could possibly cause a flare before working.
  • You said here Taltz injection sites? that you was scared. That alone could have caused the flare.
  • The Loading dose is in your system now, so there is nothing you can do and it will take a while before it's completely out of your system.

So chill out and let it do it's thing, if in two weeks when you take your next shot it's worse then rethink it. But personally I would still carry on as Bio's can work quickly, and it's best to see where you are at around week 12 before calling it a day. (*Unless you have a reaction which it does not sound like you are)

Stick with it, you will be pleasantly surprised once it starts working.

Smile

I think I’d be contacting my dermatologist/ provider of taltz to ask what to do next.. and what Fred says..

I would contact my dermatologist like Turnedlight suggested. You want to make certain it's a flare up and not a reaction or allergic reaction or something else going on.

I am a bit of a better safe than sorry type person, it's probably nothing other than nerves or something like Fred mentioned. Hopefully you see some good results soon! Smile
