Note for reference. Having a bad psoriatic arthritis flare today, neck, shoulders, arms, left wrist and most knuckles are really bad. Angry

Do they ever prescribe oral prednisone to ease the inflammation in sudden flare ups?  I'm thinking a one-week prescription with a high dosage start and a quick taper off?

I don't know to be honest, but I wouldn't take it if they did. It's only a flare, it will get better.

Yes I'm thinking it's just one of those things, Mrs Fred has Osteoarthritis and she said it was worse today.
