Bimzelx for psoriatic arthritis Fred's journey

Update time: Just had my two booster jabs, got a little bleeder this time but no big deal. I must have just got it in the wrong place or moved.

Anyway no real change and I'm still pleased with the way it's working, I still get the odd lock up especially whilst sleeping but I'm learning to live with that as movement helps. Also it's been a damp few weeks so I expected a few problems with the psoriatic arthritis, but not enough to stop me doing stuff.

Psoriatic arthritis score I will leave at 2, it's close to 1 but I think I need better weather for that to happen long term.

Psoriasis score I will leave at 1.

No side effects to report.

Got appointment end of this month for my check up.

Thank you TL, I don't know of any other members using it off hand but yes I would give it a one to try if you have psoriatic arthritis.

Short update: Had my dermatology appointment today and we are all happy.

They said I could use the antihistamine tablets if I felt it helped, but in 18 months it's only happened twice and they didn't think it was related to the Bimzelx shots.

Got a PASI score of zero and though I get a bit of psoriatic arthritis at night or when it's damp they could see a huge improvement from my last visit, so I'm following their lead and changing my own scores that I use here.

Psoriasis Score: 0

Psoriatic arthritis Score: 1

No side effects to report.

Came away with a prescription for another 12 months of Bimzelx and unless I phone them they will see me again in one year.

Oh and I also got a 1 year prescription for Diprosone as I keep some handy for if I ever get a flare.

So happy days.
