You know my hesitations with MTX, but as long as you can deal with it...

Remember, there is a new DMF medication in the form of Skilarence. This has no MEF, like Fumaderm has, and might do better. A thought to keep in your mind.

Thanks Caroline. Since I started the Iron and B12, the constant headache and fatigue are gone so I've no major side effects, only the odd mouth ulcer and maybe 2 headaches. So I don't mind being on MTX now, I'm only frustrated that my P has gotten worse since I started it.
I've another appointment in Dec, so I will keep Skilarence in mind for when I go back.

I'm happy to hear it's working for you Vincent. I hope it continues to improve your P for you.

Hi CC I was on 25mg a week before I cleared when I was on methotrexate... I only gave it up because of the side effects. It worked for me
I hope you get some movement towards clearing the Psoriasis soon
Good luck, good to see no nasty side effects for you Thumb

Thanks - currently this is the best I've seen my PS.....I'm really hoping that things continue to progress positively and I'm at last able to have the confidance to go into a Public Swimming Pool

So Positive Mind Set on my side  and some Compassion from those around me & on this site ? There is   just too much aggression & negativity in this world ....but hey ho one day there will be harmony & no PS

That is looking good Vincent !
Let’s hope that your clearance will continue and indeed you can go swimming Smile

We keep on working on a better world.
I don’t have enough money to save it on the Caymens Islands, so that is a less bother for me... 85

Great news , I'm glad you are getting clear enough for you to feel up to swimming ....I remember the feeling of elation when I first got clear enough to feel comfortable taking my grandkids swimming in public. I hope you feel as good as I did .... great positivity coming from you.  Thumb long may the methotrexate work and keeps your life “normal”

Yes a positive mind goes a long way to helping, so keep it up.

Vincent, I don't do much on the "compassion" side of things that's more of a Jim thing  Big Grin  but I will wish you well on your journey and look forward to seeing you giving more positive updates on here in the future,

Thumb

Sorry I've been doing a clean up and only just realised this thread was started by ccarr06 and it maybe should have been split to a new thread.

ccarr06 if you do read this please let me know if you want your thread split.

Hi Fred,

I don’t mind the thread as is, but if you think splitting might be better go on ahead. Whatever you think is best Smile
