This picture happen last year around August 2017  after it rebound and is way much worse then before is almost 90 % cover my body . I have been taking cyclosporine and steriods cream for a year  . So i have decide to stop western medicine since then , and try natural healing ways . My experience is healthy diet do make a difference on my natural healing journey. As per now my face are completely clear compare to the below picture i attached. Sadly was , my other body part has not much improvement.
Until recently i have make up my mind to back to western medicine path, as i really cant endure the pain anymore.. as most of you will understand how i feel if you were a severe one. I went back to my derm specialist , she had advised me on Stelara. Hope to get some good or even bad reviews about this medicine here based on own experience. Yes i do read at other article that someone post about stelara, but i hope some of you response here and i really have questions to ask .

Good luck with Stelara.

Hi looian and  Welcome to the club I’m glad you have found us as we have several members on stelara and most experiences are good and positive. So I hope your experience will be good and you will get the clearance we all want.
I have not tried any of the biologicals as my Psoriasis is under control with tablets, but from what I read stelara is a good one as many members here will testify

Here we are all sufferers or carers of sufferers who are happy to exchange views on treatments and talk about new treatments as they are approved for use.

We have a large off topic section you can use to chat or have a smile at some of the daft things the members do ( I’m the sane one though ) [Group Specific]

A great way to stay in touch with the Psoriasis community is to subscribe to our free monthly newsletter which is usually packed with interesting articles and members photos you can subscribe by clicking   Groups

I look forward to reading how stelara works for you when you start  Thumb

Hi and welcome to the club, I have been on Stelara for over 5 years and it's fantastic , I am clear and have been within the first 12 to 16 weeks of taking it . We are all different and what effects one is entirely different for another but side effects with Stelara are very low. I was on cyclosporine and it definitely was not good for me.

Hi mates , thanks for the response .
Had anyone of you stop stelara treatment and the psoriasis did not come back so far or maybe the skin clearence can last for hw long since your last injection? Im just worry i cant continue the treatment someday as my insurance company doesnt cover the cost at the momment. And during the stelera treatment , you guys had any advise to prevent the psoriasis not to return . I hope during my treatment ,after the skin back to normal ..i can actually treat with some natural way and " it " wont come back . See if anyone here have such sucessful experience or advised to provide .

Unfortunately nothing will permanently get rid of psoriasis. It's all about managing it, so you will always need Stelara or something. It can go into remission and you may be lucky enough to get it clear with Stelara and then keep it controlled with a diet, but I doubt you will ever be rid of it for long without some treatment.

Hi all , i have done my blood test etc ... doctor has prescribed me with cosentyx .. as stelara is way too costly to me at this point of time. And she mention that actually cosentyx have much better results then stelara on the healing. Tomorrow i will start my cosentyx injection journey. Hopefully everything goes well.
