Hello There !

How are you ?

21-05-2020 i have received injection number 4.
Hospital in Brno ( Czech Republic ) is very efficent.
At 7:30 they took my blood sample , at 10:00 ( after a fantastic breakfast ) i came back to Hospital and results were ready.
Doctor told me that all the results are ok , no infections , no strange marks. All ok.
After that i have got my Stelara dose and i was happy.
I must admit that that at the end of the 3 months some little spots returned on my arms near elbows , and some in the lower side side of legs.
No itch.
I think that for my Stelara lasts about 3 months , my body needs it every 3 months , no delays.
What do you think , is it strange that after 3 months the drug loses effectiveness ?
Is it a bad signal ?
Doctor says that it's absolutalely normal.
I wait that the little spots will disappear soon.

Keep in touch ! Wave

Hello Marco, I'm fine thank you.

Good to hear it's still working for you, yes your doctor is correct it's not a bad thing. If you notice it's effectiveness going before week 12 you could ask about going to week 10 or 11 between shots, but for now I would stick to the regimes you are on as it's still new to you.

*Having said that, if you are around the 100 kg mark it may be worth you asking for a double dose (90mg) as that is the recommended dose for those at 100 kg +

Sounds like you have a good doctor and hospital, so I would follow their advice.

Hi Marco. Sounding really good and like Fred said you seem to have a good doctor. I think that you will find that the longer you are on it the better it will work. I am on 10 weeks between shots now but it's still good on the P. Worth looking at the weight thing as if you need the 90mg.. best of luck take care.

Good to hear you are still doing well Marco. Yes your doctor is right, it's not easy especially this year but we must try and chill out when possible.

You have a happy life too. Smile

Hi there !

On monday 26th October i had a new shot of Stelara. Everything is going well.
Blood results are good , this time the doctor wanted also Quantiferon test and lung x-ray , both with good resilts.
Skin is clean , no strange reactions and no new spots.
Im working from home since March , stress is low and this helps much.
I dont want to make vaccine for Covid-19 ( when ready ), never made others type of vaccine.
Next shot 19th January 2021.
Till then wish you all the best !
