Remember Jaynie. You can always say "no" if you think it is too risky for you. You are the boss on your own body, not the doctors. There are more and less aggressive options.

Hi all, quick update - saw my Dermatologist last week and he is reducing my dosage of Acitretin. I was started on 25 mg day, then went to 20, now going down to 10 mg one day, 20 mg next and if I continue to stay clear in 3 months the plan is to keep me at a maintenance dose of 10 mg daily.

Anyone else just taking 10 mg daily and staying clear without flares?

I apologize, because I cannot answer this question. The drug did not clear me, nor did it reduce my inflammatory markers. However, there is no recommend dose; so you will need to take the try and see approach.
