It's not much wider than a paper cut yet it feels as wide as the Grand Canyon.
Glad its getting better!!!!!............omg that last sentence could soooo make a few jokes!!!! Confused

That is surely very well possible Kelly.
Myself I had also a backdrop lately, so I upped my dose for a number of days, and now it is going better again. At my side I think it is cause by drafter weather and less sun. You are also in the northern hemisphere, maybe that also could be a possible cause.

Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking Caroline. Thank you for the validation!!!
The weather has turned from humid to dry here with the onset of Fall.
I need to remember to drink more water and to moisturize daily - I'm not as good as I should be about keeping up with it.

Keep a little pot of Coconut Oil with you and rub a little on three to four times a day.

If you haven't tried Coconut Oil, I would give it a shot. I have used lots of moisturizers and finally decided to give it a go since Fred spoke highly of it. It doesn't make it go away.... but it does help so much with the dryness and cracking!

Acitretin sure is a funny drug. The first 3 weeks on an increased dosage for the flare, I saw no results and was really discouraged over the recurrence of flakes. Start of Week 4 my lips peeled pretty bad. Now one day short of a full month, I noticed I can no longer peel any of the flakes off which means the skin is not turning over and it's healing. On Thursday I could still peel my skin off and just 4 days later I no longer can. It seems all the healing has taken place within the last few days. Even the crack on my ear I complained about only a few days ago here is now healed. Crazy.

Crazy but good non the less, yes it's great that your cracked ears are healing, never be discouraged Kelly, you know from the past experience that the acetretin takes time to work

But thanks for the update I just love good news, life is looking good for you again Bigarm
