Most GPs don't know enough about P so the only way to go is to insist that you see a dermatologist as I assume that you are not seeing one at the moment, if you are seeing a derm then change as they obviously don't know what they are doing !
Have a good look round on the site as Fred has accumulated vast amounts of knowledge on all types of treatments and with the experience that the inmates have of living with P and PsA there are not many questions that cannot be covered.
Take care and just ask away , don't worry about spellings we don't care about things like that .
