It better hurry up, one more shot and I'm thinking of dumping it.

The side effects just aint worth it.  Thumbsdown

I know you are anti it and I hate the crap as well but Fred you have said there is no plan B
taking yourself off everything is unlikely to help. I can't pretend to know how you are feeling but I do get a good idea that things ain't good. You may need to give methotrexate  a bit longer before you give it up
I have never had PsA but it sounds a right bastard when it strikes, as it has you, the spring and warmer, dryer weather is round the corner, stick with the crap as long as you can the side effects should get less.
I know it's no help but you have a lot of friends here willing you get through this and get back to happier times buddy

I know you all want to help, but my mind is getting more and more set on dumping it Jim.

It's making me feel more crap in my quality of life than having the psoriatic arthritis, and now I have both psoriatic arthritis and a worsening quality of life with the effects of the Poison life is becoming more and more rubbish by the day.

The Tramadol I took yesterday and today are masking the pain, so I'm thinking I would rather pop those as and when needed rather than keep pumping this crap inside me.

Oh and the sleeping pill last night was great, and going for another tonight. Sleep

I'm working on a plan B and it doesn't include methotrexate.  Tongue

I can understand your thinking Fred and only you know how bad you feel. I can only imagine. Just keep working on plan B ...
Yes the Tramadol will mask the pain a bit and the sleeping pills should give you some recharge time ..
Good luck and I won't offer a load of sympathy as you hate that, but I need you well so I can go back to whacking you Wink

And i, just as stubborn as Fred, think there is a plan C, maybe even more plans.

There is the Bill road. I am sure he wants to help in directing you to where you have to go and what you have to do.

Plan D
There is also the Psorinovo road, I don't know for sure but I think it must be possible to just order it. a problem here is the costs for you. I can't think of a solution for that. Isn't there an old aunt from whom you can inherit some money or so?
You can create a save Fred fund Smile. I'm sure there are people on the board that will want to help you.

If e.g. Going the Bill road, you must have your checkups.. But it should be possible to make a deal on that with your GP, using some kind of sensible motivation, perhaps your age ? Anything a bit plausible will do.

Start writing to hospitals or find out on the recent trials of Fumaderm, who has done them, which institution, what are their plans, etc.

Just spitting ideas as usual Smile
Can't stand your suffering. Angry

I did give the Bill way a lot of thought, but decided it's not something I would want to try. I cant explain why, but it's not for me.

No I couldn't afford to keep paying for it, and no there is no rich aunt.

As for starting a save Fred fund. NO that is out of the question, I will not accept any outside financial help and would be offended if anyone tried.  NoNo

I'm at one of the top training hospitals in France and they have all the up to date treatments and trials available.

No it's helpful throwing ideas about.

I know you don't like me feeling like this, and it's comforting to know you and others are concerned.

But I know my options, and I know I have to start working on my own plan.

Mind's Made Up!

I've had enough of this crap they can shove it where the sun don't shine, I did say I would go to at least four shots but this stuff is ruining my life.

So when the Nurse comes on Friday to do the blood test, I will tell her not to come back on Monday to do the next Methotrexate injection. I knew all along it was going to be a waste of time, but I didn't expect my life to be worse than it was before I started.

Done, Finished, End Of, Decision Made.

Stubborn Mode commences in the morning.
