Hi Fred , Jim said that you was a lazy old sod so you are just confirming what I already knew Big Grin

I know that you and Caroline are dead against MTX and I admit that I am no great fan however sometimes you have to weigh the good against the bad , don't get to discouraged just give it a fair chance. I am grateful that,at the moment, my PsA is not as bad as yours by a long way and I can get by on pain killers. I would suggest that if you want a tour of the village tomorrow you have a second thought, where is all the French rural laid back attitude or has it not rubbed off on you yet.

Yes it has Dave, but it gets so boring just doing nothing all day. I'm happy to do nothing all day if I choose, but when I have to it's not good.

You...... Are extremely stubborn having the idea that you can do without medication. Spank

We will have to go on for some time, as you say yourself, with MTX.
But almost inevitable there will come a moment that you will have to go to dimethylfumarate. You just must try it!!! It's so extremely stubborn how you are acting now.
There must be a way around to start using it, while distracting the French health system, so that you can be monitored and still can try DMF. Maybe using the Bill route or trying to order in the netherlands. Or perhaps Fumaderm if it's pops up in the French system again.

Oh OK I'm stubborn but sometimes I have to admit I fail, for example was I to receive an anonymous communication it would annoy me if I wasn't able to reply.  Tongue

But you keep telling me about DMF, what can I do?

#1 I thought of Bill's way, but I have to be honest and say I just don't have the confidence to try it.
#2 Fumderm I asked about but they said the trials had stopped and it's not available.
#3 Psorinovo This would be the one I would go for and I'm very tempted, but it would mean me coming out of the French system. That in itself isn't a big deal for me as I could try it for a few months to see without telling them, but my finances wouldn't be able to support it long term.

On #3 i have been thinking the same of course. I can imagine that your resources are limited. So that is a very difficult problem.
What might be an option is to try #3, than at least you have an indication if it will work for you. Maybe then you would get more motivated to go on with #1. You could contact Bill or dr Erhardt (the MS patient) if they have more ideas on a slow release trick..
And maybe in the somewhat longer run #2 comes in view.

Or ... Another option is still going to talk with the French system, talk, talk, talk. Who knows they can be put on the track of also a test with #3.

Just some wild thoughts dropping at you.
