Hi Angie. good to hear that you are happy with the Stelara results, I find that like Fred, it does tend to go in a cycle over the 12 weeks and I also have a couple of area's that never completely clear which are my ears and two small patches. I have been on it over three years now and it's been fantastic in clearing the dam stuff , I do have certain phases over the 12 weeks and at 9-10 weeks it does start to lose it's way a bit. The last twelve weeks period I have had an increase in the P just in the two patches and my ears so I have used Doverbet which has cleared most of it and now I have done the 90mg injection a few weeks ago it's clearing it again to a low level.

All the best Dave

Hi, glad to hear you are happy with Stelara - do they test for cholesterol while you're on it, or is it just a coincidence that you had the test? Only, I haven't been told anything about it..

Afternoon All

Sorry I've been missing for a long time.  Spank   Few things going on which seem to take up
any spare time available.

I have alot of catching up to do with the threads.

Turnedlight -  I'm not sure why these were checked, but on my last visit my derm said she didn't have to
do them at that visit.  Think it is coming down, but haven't had a chance to get results for other levels yet.

Well week 47  - already!  Skin mostly staying the same as previous months,  Improves 2 weeks after jag and
random spots start to appear roughly 4-5 weeks after that.

Staining not much better on legs but can live with that.

No noticeable side effects either.  So still very pleased with Stelara, and long may it continue.

Hope you are all well and hopefully enjoying some sunshine.  We have had our week of summer and
don't expect to see the yellow ball again until probably September  Cool

I will be back sooner.

Good stuff Angie. Thumb

I've just been telling Andy on his thread it can go up and down over the 12 weeks. Like you say "Long may it continue".

Hi Angie great to see you back and pleased to hear that Stelara is still doing the business for you although it seems to struggle to keep it under for you, but it's good that you are happy with the results

I hope it keeps giving good results for you

You've had your visit from the yellow ball in the sky for this year, and  we are looking forward to see it emerge down here for a week or two  Whistle we will send it back in September for you.

Hi All

A big sorry for my disappearance again!  Spank  Spank

Doing more hours at work and more taxi driving for my kids.

Well it's Week 62 on Stelara and still really happy with it. Not clearing as well as first did, elbows now always keep a bit of P on them, as well as hip and tiny bit in ear. But still very impressed. Especially as no notable side effects which is fantastic after the effects of other meds.

My Derm is happy to see some psoriasis as she says it's better to know they are not over treating.

Staining on legs, still persists, which my sharp tounged dermatologist says is (can't remember the correct medical term) tartan effect!! ( Spank  Spank how rude, it's staining, I'm sure of it, nothing to do with my age, ha ha.)

Had an appointment sent through, out the blue for an appointment for a UVB check-up.  All went well, full skin check for any new moles, changes etc. Had a lot of UVB from the notes they have, not counting two other hospitals I attended about 30 years ago. So good to know they are keeping an eye on things.  The only thing I can say about over doing the UVB, is that the skin on my face has a lot of pigmentation, My Derm says she can not prescribe anything but wrote down a couple of creams, which probably can not be prescribed and may get one from America! Still to engage my bum and look into it .  Whistle

I got a lot of help from here when I was totally pi**ed off with my P, and sorry I've been awol so long, I hope to get time and join in, even if it is with GB's sewing at the weekend. I believe crochet is making a big come back so maybe have a go at that. Thumb

I'll go now and have a wee read about and catch up.

Hope your all well.
