hi all. up date on my otezla treatment, not been on for a while due to depression. which is strange cos never suffered with depression befor. other day did a bit of digging about otezla, and turns out some people are experiencing depression and suicidal thoughts on otezla. including myself. and some people actually completed suicide. and also as far as psoriasis goes there has been little change. so got an appointment to see my dermo, and going to get off it as soon as i can.

hi martin, big hug! Hang in there. Same for me on Humira, which, with a little digging around online, turns out to happen to other people too. Hope you can get of it as soon as possible. Maybe try Stelera, if you can. I'm quite happy on it =]

Hi Martin good to see you, yes get off the damn stuff if it’s giving you depression and worse still suicidal thoughts ..... better to have Psoriasis ..... it’s strange how some people get these thoughts and others don’t, it’s well documented here Otezla
There are so many other things you can try that should clear you have a good read in the prescribed treatments Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis

I hope you get to feeling more like your old self soon and that the next treatment will get you clear

Good luck

Sorry to hear that Martin, but like Jim said Otezla does come with that warning.

Try asking you dermatologist about Stelara or Cosentyx.

Should you need any help with depression we do have this thread if you feel it would help. [Group Specific]

I have merged your posts into your old thread to keep it all together and sent you a PM.

Take care.

Fred.
