Nit a noticeable difference behind rpth ears Kat but hopefully it will shift it soon
I hope it's working on your arthritis in the ankles and you start to overall feel better

Good luck with the dizziness i hope it's not related to cosentyx

Probably too early to tell, as everybody reacts differently. Hope you won't feel dizzy anymore soon!

I'm trying to be patient... but hoping for a clear non itchy scalp one day soon. Smile The ears and scalp have been my worst areas and are very stubborn so I imagine it could take a while before I see any improvement since I'm still on the loading doses.

Thanks, I feel better today!

I looked it up, and no it wasn't a room spinning type thing more of an woozy feeling imbalanced type thing. But after reading about BPPV, I know why the doc had me turning my head quickly and stuff Big Grin

Results are back from first test (Brain scan) and it was normal. Showed some signs of atrophy (umm, guess I'm not using it as much as I should be Tongue ) Normal aging causes atrophy of the brain according to what I just read on the internet. So normal isn't always a good thing I guess. Confused But thankful I'm still aging. Big Grin

Anyway not sure what the dizziness was about yesterday but it was all day long. Feeling better today.

Thanks Jim!

No, the doctor looked it up to see if there was any relation between the Cosentyx and being dizzy and couldn't find any so told me to go ahead with my dose yesterday.

Went to the neurologist today, seems he thinks it's an inner ear issue regarding the crystals in my ear!  I should have flown to France to Dr. Fred as it probably would have been cheaper!  Although not sure what you'd charge me Fred.   Tongue

He said sit on bed, put a pillow on both ends, lay on one side for 20 seconds, sit up and lay on other side for 20 seconds and do this 20 times.  Repeat twice per day for 2 weeks and that should sort it.

Edit: I have had it happen off and on for awhile, but last Wednesday it lasted all day which he said is uncommon. I also didn't notice it getting worse with head movement but he had be lay down and when I moved my head to one side my eyes "quiver" which is a sign. Not the most scientific explanation but I couldn't remember the big words, only the explanation. Big Grin

Dizziness can also be a manifestation of a viral infection. I had something like this a few years back. My symptoms were mild postural vertigo/nystagmus. It went after a few weeks. My sister had something similar around the same time, so when I heard of her issue I felt somewhat relieved as I could be more certain of what I had.

Dizziness is very inconvenient, good to try this simple things for at least resetting your ears.

Not much progress indeed, but remember Cosentyx works the best for Psoriatic Arthritis. It has positive effects also for Psoriasis, but not for everyone perhaps.

No charge for you Kat  Wink

I found it worked best if I go back quickly with my head turned one way with my chin down and let my head go over the side of the bed, then repeat the other side.

My doctor also gave me a leaflet with some exercises to follow like focusing the eyes, walking with eyes closed, standing on one leg, etc. But I only do them if it gets really bad.

It's horrible especially if you get it bad like being sick and palpitations, I hope it soon clears for you and as soon as you feel it again go through the procedure again.

But also like Bill said it could be an infection, I had one of those too. But your doctor would have spotted it, mine did.

Thanks all on the advice for cosentyx and the dizziness

The neurologist thinks I may have had an infection that went undetected at some point in the past few months.

My last loading dose for Cosentyx is tomorrow. I'll be curious if I don't see any improvement in my skin as to what the doctor will say. Still early days yet though so I'm not giving up hope. My scalp has been my problem area from the start. Other areas have cleared quickly but my scalp appears to be very stubborn. It has never been 100% clear since my first flare up but it's been better than it is now a time or two. I'm still hopeful however.

Thanks again and I'll update tomorrow with another picture, but I expect it to be about the same, perhaps a touch better.
