Hi Marco,

If the Skilarence works you will eventually reach an effective dose, then your symptoms will abate. Sunshine and saltwater are a big help. I have not heard of omega 3 being harmful. What is Skypance?

Cheers

It's really precious for me Smile

Some questions :

1) Should be normal to feel a bit of itch in the first weeks ? My spots looks red and alive.I'm not using Enstilar.

2) Sunbathing is possible if i take Skilarence ?

3) In my diet i have pills of omega 3 to reduce triglycerides , i hope that there's not bad interaction between Skilarence and omega 3. What do u think ?

Thanks Again !

Edit by Fred: Corrected spelling of Skilarence.

1) I would not know. Normally you get hot flushes in the sense that feels like little needles in the skin of firstly your head and then further downwards over your whole body. And your skin then will become red (with me all-over) and warm for a while 10-30 minutes and then it will fade away again.
It may be that what you feel is a derivative of that.

2) No problem with sunbathing at all. DMF is not known to have interactions due to the sun or vitamins or whatever.

3) Also no known information on that. It is as in (2) DMF seems to be quite standing alone and has no interactions with other medication or things. Alcohol for instance is no problem at all.

Cheers,
Caroline.

I would agree with all the above just lead a normal life I have never had a reaction to anything since being on DMF (Fumaderm and now skilarence)

The itch might be the active psoriasis and maybe fighting the drug is what I think but nothing to worry about as long as it's not causing you problems

Personally I would use the enstilar as well to kick start the clearance

I used to be on Fumaderm and found it to be a wonder drug with no real side effects other than the odd red face.

I'm now on Skilarence and have found that I get many more side effects even on the low dose. I get terrible intestinal cramps and suffer from horrendous bloating which is a known side effect but makes me look and feel pregnant (I assume that's what pregnancy feels like  Big Grin )

It's got that bad I've had to stop using it just to have a break from the side effects, plus I'm going on a cruise in a week and I can't face feeling that bad while I'm on holiday.

Hopefully you won't have the same side effects as me as everyone is different. Once DMF kicks in it's amazing, l loved Fumaderm but the jury is out for me with Skilarence at the minute.

I wish you the very best of luck with it.

Update :

Fiirst week with  1 x 30 mg after dinner completed.
No side effects.
Obvioulsy , no improvement on the spots but that's absolutely normal i suppose.
This morning i have started 2nd week of treatment , 1x30 mg after breakfast.
I drink 2,5 / 3 lt of water every day.

Let's go on like this and let's hope well !!!

Very good !
Amazing that you have no side effects.
Indeed nothing to expect yet. There are very few people who can do with an extreme low dose.

The normal approach is building up till it starts working. Then follow a plateau phase on that level, that is as long at least as the building up phase. Then you can start reducing the dose again, until the P is coming back and then go back 1 step in medication.

That all if DMF works for you. You have a 70% chance that it will.
