I know its frustrating for you Kerry but unfortunately you are in this for the long haul and need something that will last when it works . Don't increase to fast.
It would be better if you can have a word with your dermatologist and ask for some calcipotriol ointment to assist the clearance then drop the cream and stick with skilarence when you are clear
It is an accepted way to treat psoriasis I read in a study,  and I'll send you a pm to explain

There is a paper about it and the speed that it speeds up clearance

Quote:
Topical Calcipotriol plus oral fumaric acid is more effective and faster acting than oral Fumaric acid monotherapy in the treatment of severe chronic plaque psoriasis Vulgaris

Conclusion: This study shows that the combination of calcipotriol and FAEs is significantly more effec- tive and faster acting than FAE monotherapy in the treatment of severe plaque psoriasis. The combination has a slight FEA-sparing effect and therefore a superior benefit/risk ratio.
