Was it working for you at a lower dose with tolerable side effects? You may be able to continue with 30mg tablets. Some people are very sensitive to the drug.

Hi Bill yes the lower dose didn't give me so many side affects but didn't really work either.

Probably you belong to the group of people who are too sensitive for it. So a slow release dose would also not help with you, I guess.
Indeed next step will be a biological.
They are probably going to try out some with you.

In the current number of “Psoriasis” the magazine of the Dutch patients community there is an article about the BIOMAP project. A worldwide project which has the purpose to find all the markers that are involved in psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis. The ultimate goal is to in the end analyse the blood of a patient and on the base of the markers being able to exactly pinpoint which treatment suits the best for that patient. So you will have a personalised approach and all the trying will not be necessary anymore.
