What Bill means is the suction tube inside the can is bendy and weighted so which ever way you tip the can the tube will stay in the fluid  Thumb

Cool, thanks for the info. I do a little painting with my paint gun, but don't pay attention to the specifics.

Thanks Jim. It is hard to imagine a spray application that would not benefit.

Not only does this stuff apply well, but it works well. Not sure why, but it does. I like this stuff better than Tazorac. I'd recommend this stuff, if your lucky enough to get it covered. In my state, there are zero sales. Do keep in mind that I am on a biologic as well.

So who would of thought that the application of topological steroids makes such huge difference.

Topicals are a recommended adjunct to DMF, and Fred swears by his coconut oil. If it is a steroid wont it thin the skin?

Yes it will and it's only designed for up to 4 weeks use. So the same as the creams but more convenient to use.

It's only to be used where the skin is thick - I'm only using it on my legs. They typically only subscribe creams with systematic treatment to to speed up the process, not hold the fort down.

Maybe other topicals could help as well? I also combine systemic treatments by taking doxycycline (I understand that minocycline is better) with the dmf. Not a big effect, but not insignificant.

I have tried others, countless others. For whatever reason, this works - gets rid of scales not the patch. I got about a week and half left before I am supposed to stop.

Hi,

I've been on Enstilar for 4 weeks now and am really happy with its results so far - the scaling has stopped and I think the redness is reducing. Fearing a "bounce" (I tried Dovabet years ago with rather poor results) I have limited the Enstilar to use just on my lower half but so far it all looks quite stable. I'm wondering what I should do now. I'm no longer under the care of a dermatologist, having been prescribed Enstilar by my GP after I had specifically asked for it, so I'm not sure what steps to take now that my lower half has come to the end of a 4 week cycle. I'm thinking go for it with my top half but I don't know how long I can leave my lower half untreated before the scaling returns!

I remember when I was trying Dovabet I was told by my dermatologist at that time to just keep using it, there was no time restriction, but I was limited by the quantity they allowed me to use. I've only used about 80g of Enstilar so far (one and a third cans), so I'm well below the maximum 15g/day.

I was wondering if anyone else on Enstilar had got into any kind of routine that I could use as a starting point?

All the best,

Paul

Just got a prescription in the post for Enstilar from my derm, never heard of it before and he suggested that as the Stelara appears to be not doing much for a few patches I have I need to try this. I noted that it was remarked that I can only use it on thicker skin, not got it yet as I must take the prescription in to get it sorted out. I have read the comments on the results that have been obtained so I will see how I go on with it , that is when I get it.
